105 Days Later: Trump’s Stock Market Performance goes from Great to Average

Description: At the 692 days mark, Trump’s stock market performance (24.1% improvement since inauguration) ranks tenth out of all 23presidents dating back to Grover Cleveland’s first term in 1885. (24 presidents if you count Cleveland’s non-consecutive terms as separate “presidents”.) At the 587 days mark1, Trump ranked an impressive third (31.1%). Currently, Trump ranks behind previous Republicans including Coolidge (47.1%), Eisenhower(35.3%), and Ford (28.0%), as well as Democrats including FDR (63.5%), Obama (43.8%),and Johnson (31.8%). However, at this stage, Trump still ranks ahead power performers including Clinton (16.1%) and Reagan (7.7%). Data taken from FRED2.
